Rules and Code of Conduct


An entry fee of £80 is payable up front and non refundable, if teams cant make a specific match time, alert Stephen ASAP and we will try and work around you.
There will be 3 matchdays:

1 & 2      26th February  and 4th March from 11am – 4pm – Group stage ( each team plays 2 matches on this day,  you will recieve a match time and you only have to show up at this time, for example “I will inform you of a match time of 12:30, you will show up for your match and be ready to play by 12:25, your match will be over at 1pm, have a rest and watch the games for half an hour and where we can fit it you should be on again at 1:30, you can leave again after your second match is played.)

3             11th March from 11am – 2pm – Knockout stage  (If you finish in the top 2 of your group you progress to match day three.)

NO METAL FOOTWARE.

This is damaging pitches and also causing injuries to players. Any player wearing metal studs or blades will be Refused the right to play. Team captains please note that you may be deemed to have a duty of care to the players you captain and therefore may be held to account if a team member injures themselves or others while wearing metal studs.
Players must at all times show respect and courtesy towards staff members of the facilities that we use. Any team who does not adhere to this will cause their team to be disqualified without refund.


NO SLIDE TACKLES!

This rule includes the goal keepers.  Players found slide tackling or going to ground to win the ball will recieve a yellow card, if the offence occurs twice then a red will be shown. A late slide tackle could result in a straight red, this rule is down to the discretion of the referee.  A direct free kick will be given to the opposition when this offence is committed against them.


Aggressive behaviour will result in the offender being sent off for the remainder of the match and depending on the severity of the offence they may be banned for the competition. A penalty kick may also be awarded regardless of the position of the incident.


All free kicks are direct.


Opponents must give the players taking a free kick, corner or side ball 5 Yards.


Each match will last 30 Minutes.


The referees decision is FINAL.

Teams may have as many substitute players and make as many substitutions as needed [rolling subs] from their own squad list. Only a max of 2 players from another team can be used up to the MAX 6 Players on the pitch. You can not use players outside your squad list to boost sub numbers
In the knockout phase on matchday 3 if a tie is drawn at full time, 3 penalties each then sudden death to decide a winner.
If teams finish level on points in the group stage, best head-to-head results will decide their final positions. If the game in question was a draw goal difference will be the method used, otherwise attacking goals scored will decide.
